Jimoh Sirajudeen

Jimoh Sirajudeen (Jimoh Olasunkami Sirajudeen) born 15th July 1980 in Mosafejo Amukoko area of Lagos State to the family of Alhaji Jimoh Ajetunmobi of Oke Imole Compound, Agbamu Kwara State. He is a businessman, based in Lagos and deal primarily on Hand Tools, his company mainly sells Indian Spanners, Files and other Indian Tools and China Hand Tools.

Education: Sirajudeen attended Quranic Primary School later renamed Ansarul Islam Primary School, Agbamu, Kwara State from 1985 to 1991, then proceeded to Arabic Teachers' College, Jebba, Kwara State in 1991 for Secondary education but did not stay through final year, he left Arabic Teachers' College, Jebba shortly after writting his Junior WAEC in 1994, he joined another school same year to complete his secondary school education, this time in Ansarul Islam Secondary School, Igbonla also in Kwara state, he completed his secondary education in 1997.


Sirajudeen returned in August of 1997 to Lagos after his secondary school education to join with his parents and plan for his future, life was not rossy as he lost his caring dad shortly after returning to Lagos, Alhaji Jimoh Ajetunmobi died in Lagos on the 3rd of March 1998.
His father's demise marked the beginning of his struggle to survive, Surajudeen was left alone to look after his mother's petty trade at Mile 2, Lagos for the period of four months she (mother) would spent indoor mourning and observing the Islamic rites every muslim widow observes immediately after the death of their husbands.
Sales at Mile 2 went 99% downward and Sirajudeen was faced with the challenges of feeding, this went on for some weeks without any hope that things could soon get better, but with the help of his elder sisters Surajudeen Jimoh secured a job as salesboy under Alhaji Tajudeen Olanrewaju of Tajudeen Olanrewaju Nigeria Enterprises in Agarawu area of Lagos Island, Lagos State in the 1998, the role which later metamorphosed into the role of 'OMO ODO' (house help cum sales boy) in the year 2000 when Baba Adija (Alhaji Tajudeen Olanrewaju) moved to new and bigger appartment and needed someone to help his family do some house chores.


Sirajudeen was given more responsibilties at work on merit of his good hand writting (good, at least according to his boss) and good basic arithmetic knowledge, he would be sent to the office of the company's vendors to collect papers which were used to recieve goods at their warehouses, he would be sent to the warehouses with the vehicles to load the goods and lead the vehicle back to the shop, he would be sent most times to go to the banks to pay in the money of daily sales and he would also be sent to the office of the company's vendors to reconcile the company's account.
He would clean the house on Sundays, sometimes wash the dishes and sometimes the laundry.


In August of 2007 Sunday 12th, 9 years after he started working for Tajudeen Olanrewaju Nigeria Enterprises, his mom paid a visit to his boss' home and requested to know when her son was going to be released to start his life (business). In the evening of Wednesday 15th August 2007, his boss invited him to Master's sitting room and asked "your mom came on Sunday to make request for your freedom, are you ready to go?'' and without hesitation, Sirajudeen responded "Yes sir, I am ready".
And so he was told that night to not bother go with others to the shop the following day, that he should pack all his belongings and leave, he was rewarded with the sum of N50,000 afterwards.

In September 2007, Sirajudeen started his own business and named it AJETUNMOBI OLASUNKANMI TOOLS CENTER which was later renamed AJETUNMOBI OLASUNKANMI TOOLS VENTURES when it was time to register the company name with the CAC.
